Rachel Lantz 11/17/2017 6:01 AMFreiburg is generally referred to as the "Green City" of Germany. Their recycling system was very new to me here and we are required to separate all kinds of wastes and recyclables. Some of the categories include general waste, compost, plastics, paper, brown glass, green glass, one-time use glass, and many more. Going from the recycling system in my hometown to Freiburg was a drastic difference and it made me realize how important it is to recycle properly to avoid contamination.-
